Not great at all - not reflective of the other mantras I’ve stayed at.

Firstly, I was charged $483 in advance of my stay and then another $340 - for 2 nights on check in . The day before my stay, A person from Mantra called me, asking why I was at the hotel - I told her, the dates on her end were wrong. I read out my confirmed dates. She said I would have to sort it out with booking.com - I told her no, I have the email confirmation, I do not have a contact point, that BC would want to fix the issue with mantra and that I’m sure she had a contact point she could utilise. I emailed mantra Collins with the details as requested but was still charged an extra $483 regardless. What else…well; . The floor is simply indescribable - large concrete balls under the carpet - see the photos. I’ve never ever seen anywhere, you could trip over on the carpet in a hotel room, if you had crutches took kids or the elderly were tgere, you would fall over…along with that, a down light was hanging out of roof, toilet seat broken and now offset to right, walls / cupboards dirty (see photos) and…frustratingly, there were no welcome books. So I couldn’t watch Austar etc. I asked both in person at reception and via email - how do I use the Austar service, as it was far from clear..the desk person said he’d be up in a few minutes, but he did not turn up, and I never received an answer to any emails I sent (over charge nor Austar).

My stay was short but very pleasant.

The room was excellent and very clean. I was there on business and got in late. I was greeted very well by concierge and was pleasantly surprised when I got to the room to find a lovely full bottle of Tasmanian wine as well as local covalent fudge. Room was very well presented and tidy.

First time to Tasmania, and sort of randomly pick where to stay. We we're very happy with our stay. Super comfy bed, amazing views, free laundry, great customer service, clean and spacious rooms....would definitely stay again. Location In the city was close to so many good places...all walking distance.

Great Staff, very comfortable room. Any request was answered or taken care of. The cafe was not a buffet and made to order. I loved the Granola with fresh fruit and yoghurt. Nothign was a problem. Parking was behind and all under cover. Easy to get a park.

We couldn’t be more delighted with this accommodation. The rooms were clean, good sized and all the amenities that you would hope for. Helpful and friendly staff and great location. We would definitely make this our priority hotel if returning to Hobart.
